“If you think about the domino effect of more regulations, what it has had on me personally – I am employing less people now than I ever did. If there are more regulations that are continuing to add on top of the existing regulations, my business suffers, my bottom line suffers-I would not be in favor of more regulations on this industry.”
Dale Kaplan, Owner, Kaplan’s Careful Cleaners (Camp Hill, PA)
The Impact of Regulations on Pennsylvania
- 4,128 regulations could be implemented over the next four years, which would greatly impact the American economy
- $515 billion is the estimated cost of planned regulations to the economy
- 1,025,894 people who work in Pennsylvania’s major industries could be impacted by the tidal wave of regulations
- $106 billion of Pennsylvania’s gross state product (GSP) could be negatively impacted
In order to help Pennsylvania’s small businesses and overall economy, we need sensible, clear, and fair regulations. This administration should be making sure that every regulation protects American citizens, without harming small businesses. This will help our small businesses hire and invest and ultimately, make America’s economy healthier.
