NAM and NFIB Call for Action to Modernize Regulatory Process

On Wednesday morning, the NFIB and NAM co-sponsored a regulatory event, “The State of U.S. Regulations,” to announce a year long partnership between the two organizations. Throughout the upcoming year, NFIB and NAM will work together to engage membership on the need for regulatory improvements.

The event included keynote remarks by U.S. Representative Kevin McCarthy, House Majority Whip, opening remarks by Dan Danner, president and CEO of NFIB, and Jay Timmons, and a panel of experts, including former Virginia Governor George Allen, Susan Dudley, Director of the George Washington University Regulatory Studies Center, former U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-AR), Philip Howard, author of The Death of Common Sense, and Robert Weissman, president of Public Citizen.
