Like clockwork, every four years during the election season Iowa enjoys the high profile attention of political candidates and commentators. But this year, what we can’t afford is empty talk. In recent years, federal regulations have grown at a breakneck pace, and today there is a tidal wave of new rules backed up in Washington that could crush small business throughout Iowa and across the country.
Last month, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) launched the StoptheTidalWave.orgcampaign to address the more than 4,000 federal regulations looming in Washington.
