Thursday, 2 August 2012

Today the #StoptheTidalWave campaign continued its momentum with state launch events in Florida, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.  With more than 4,100 regulations pending in Washington small businesses are taking action to stop a regulatory tidal wave in November.

In Florida, Congressman Steve Southerland participated in a call with media reporters and NFIB State Director Bill Herrle, and Jerry Pierce, owner of Restaurant Equipment World.

In North Carolina, Congressman Patrick McHenry, NFIB state director Gregg Thompson, and Glen Lancaster, owner of ATM USA, spoke with reporters about the threats facing small businesses.

Earlier in Pennsylvania, Senator Pat Toomey, NFIB State Director Kevin Shiver, Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association Executive Director David Taylor, and Erie Business Association President Ralph Pontillo hosted a similar call.
