Small business owners who say they’ve been overburdened with federal regulations want Washington to look at impacts before they add more rules to the books.
The National Federation of Independent Business launched its nine-state Small Businesses for Sensible Regulations campaign to educate the public – and Beltway politicians – on how excessive government regulations are stifling business, the economy and job growth. To date, the group says more than 1,000 businesses and associations have joined its coalition.
During a news conference Thursday at the Triple Play Cafe in Steubenville, area business owners gve their voices to efforts to grow awareness of the severity of the problem.
