The National Federation of Independent Business is launching a campaign to stem what it calls President Barack Obama’s “regulatory tidal wave.”
The federation announced the campaign, saying it would include forums around the state discussing the “costly regulations for U.S. businesses and consumers” from the Obama administration.
The administration has nearly 4,100 pending federal regulations that the federation said would cost billions of dollars.
Though it’s focused on the administration during an election year, “This is not a candidate-centered effort,” said federation state Director Tony Gagliardi. “It’s an issue-centered effort.”
