Optimism among small business owners is in “significant” decline, according to the National Federation of Independent Business’ June Index of Small Business Optimism.
Optimism declined by three points, to 91.4, a move that “relinquished” gains achieved earlier this year, the NFIB says in a press release. High political uncertainty took the blame as a primary cause for why small business owners won’t expand.
